Rivers State collation officer of INEC Prof Teddy Charles Adias Says Supporters of Labour Party behind Threats
Adias who is also the vice chancellor of the federal university Otuoke accused supporters of the Labour party of being the masterminds behind the threats and expressed surprise why anyone would threatening him when he has no hands in the results.
The state collation officer Teddy Charles Adia who also read out several social media live threatening messages tagged him called on INEC to assure him of his security and inform the public that he has no business with the conduct of the elections before he can resume collation.
On his part the police Commissioner in charge of the Presidential and national Assembly elections in Rivers State CP Aderemi Adeoye who was present at the briefing assured the collation officer Prof Teddy Charles Adias of his safety during and after the collation exercise.
