President Vows to Lead Nigeria to a Prosperous Future

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to building a prosperous and self-reliant Nigeria, emphasizing the collective effort required to achieve this vision.

Speaking in Lagos on Wednesday while hosting Vice President Kashim Shettima, the leadership of the National Assembly and former principal officers of the Assembly, President Tinubu expressed gratitude for their support, while pledging to work harder and make courageous decisions for National development. 

He described Nigeria’s journey as a transformative mission aimed at securing a brighter future for the next generation, urging Nigerians to remain steadfast and united in their efforts.

The President also denounced past perceptions of inferiority, affirming Nigeria’s determination to rise above such limitations while calling for a continued collaboration in steering Nigeria toward the “promised land.

In his remarks,  the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio,  commended Tinubu for his courage and commitment to reform the country, as he assured that the National Assembly was firmly behind his administration.

Akpabio highlighted the positive economic outlook under the Tinubu administration, citing achievements such as oversubscription of Nigeria’s Eurobond, improvements in ease of doing business, and growing foreign investors’ confidence.

Also, the Speaker of the House of Representative Tajudeen Abbas, commended the President for his respect and support of the National Assembly.
