NLC insists on ₦250,000 New Minimum Wage

 Meanwhile, the Nigerian Labour Congress President, Joe Ajaero has insisted that the status quo on the request for N250,000 as Minimum wage still stands.

The NLC President while fielding questions from newsmen after Organised Labour Leaders meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Aso Villa, said the meeting was more of a discussion and not negotiation.

Our Correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that the TUC President, Festus Usifo said the Labour leaders presented the socio-economic issues bothering the nation before President Tinubu and got the President’s response.

Minister of State for Labour Nkiru Nyejiocha said the body was optimistic that the issues will soon be resolved.
