INEC Declares Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2023 Presidential Election winner with over 8million votes.
=The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has declared the All Progressive Congress, (APC) candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the February 25th, 2023 Presidential election.
Our Correspondent, Raliat Adenekan stationed at the National Collation Center, Abuja reports that the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, who made this declaration early this morning, stated that Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes to emerge victorious.
Following behind is the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with 6,984,520, while the Labour Party, (LP) candidate, Peter Obi, came third with 6,101,533 and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP polled 1,496,687 votes.

The presidential election results collation lasted for four days and it was disclosed that the total valid votes was 24,250,940, total rejected Votes 939,278 while the total votes cast was 24,965,218.
The INEC Chairman disclosed that the winner of the Presidential election, Tinubu and his Vice, Kassim Shettima will be issued Certificate of Return at 3pm today at the National Collation Centre, ICC, Abuja.
