The Federal Government has reestablished a 7member renegotiation committee  to address the 2009 agreements with university-based unions. 

Inaugurating the committee yesterday in Abuja, Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman,  gave the members three months to conclude negotiations. 

The committee, chaired by Dr. Yayale Ahmed, comprises representatives from ASUU, SSANU, Non-Academic Staff of Educational and Associated Institutions, and the National Association of Academic  Technologists.
