The federal government of Nigeria has assured that it will continue to prioritize infrastructural development in order to address some infrastructural decays.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume who made this known today during a press conference while unveiling the programmes for the 64th Independence Anniversary noted that the independence will be celebrated in a low-key.
The Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun who spoke on food security noted that the government is very deliberate in ensuring food importation is addressed drastically.
Earlier, the Minister of Information & National Orientation, Mohammed Idris said the government is implementing a series of transformative policies and reforms designed to address the missteps of the past and set Nigeria to emerge as a formidable economic superpower in the near future.
