Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has said that creative sector was Nigeria’s second largest employer of Labour.
The Speaker, represented by Hon. Amos Magaji, who stated this while declaring open a public hearing on the bill for an Act to provide for Establishment of National Institute for Film and Media Technology, Ukawu, in Abuja today, said the sector had the potential to create additional 2.7 million jobs by 2025.
Abbas said the Bill was in line with their Legislative Agenda, re-affirming their commitment to reforming and modernizing the technical education system to equip students with relevant skills to thrive in today’s economy.
