President Bola Tinubu has urged herders to end open grazing, surrender illegal weapons, and adopt ranching as part of a national strategy to curb recurring farmer–herder clashes. Authorities urged residents to stay calm, avoid spreading misinformation, and remain cooperative as efforts to protect communities continue.
