Michael Madsen Faces charges for alleged domestic battery

US actor, Michael Madsen, was arrested over the weekend for alleged domestic battery, after his wife alleged “her husband pushed her and locked her out of their residence”. Michael Madsen and DeAnna Madsen have been married for 28 years. In a statement, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said he was nabbed around midnight in the city of Malibu, California, and the outcome of the investigation will be forwarded to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing. Madsen, who starred in films like “Reservoir Dogs’ and “Kill Bill”, was later released from custody on a $20,000 bond. The 66-year-old has not publicly commented on the issue.

The Director General of the National Senior citizens Centre (NSCC), Emem Omokaro, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to improving the lives of senior citizens across Nigeria, stating that investing in them will drive economic development nationwide. Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Commissioner for Special Duties of Anambra State, Beverly Ikpeazu Nkemdiche, at the agency’s headquarters in Abuja, Omokaro highlighted the benefits of engaging retired and aged individuals to tap into their knowledge and experience, in order to enable the government to reshape policies and improve the economy.
