Liverpool star Mohamed Salah will join Egypt’s AFCON camp on December 15 as preparations begin in Morocco.

Despite recent bench appearances, coach Arne Slot praised Salah’s professionalism and support for teammates. The 33-year-old has scored four goals in 13 league matches this season.

Egypt open their AFCON run against Zimbabwe on December 22 and will compete in Group B with Angola, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Salah’s leadership will be vital to Egypt’s tournament ambitions.
