Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen says he is ready to play in Monday’s Super Lig derby against Fenerbahçe despite a recent hamstring injury. The forward missed the last two matches after picking up the knock during Nigeria’s World Cup African play-off loss to DR Congo.

Osimhen told teammates he’s willing to take risks to give 100% on the pitch, highlighting the derby’s importance and his commitment to Galatasaray. The striker has three goals in nine league games this season and previously scored against Fenerbahçe during his loan spell.

Galatasaray leads the Super Lig with 32 points, one ahead of Fenerbahçe. Turkish authorities will deploy 16,000 security personnel to ensure a safe and intense derby atmosphere.
