Nigeria’s U-17 women’s team, the Flamingos will face their Algerian counterpart in the final qualifying round of Morocco 2025.
The Flamingos qualified to the final round after a 5-1 aggregate scoreline over South Africa’s Bantwana, winning 3-1 in Pretoria and 2-0 in Ikenne last Saturday.
Algeria booked their place in the round after recording a 4-0 win over Botswana after playing 1-1 draw in the first leg to set up the final showdown with the Nigeria girls.
The first leg between Nigeria and Algeria will take place over the weekend of April 18-20 and April 25-27, 2025.
The winner over the two legs will pick one of the four 2025 FIFA Women World Cup at stake as Morocco will be the fifth Africa country at the World Cup, who have already as host of the competition.
