Prominent Niger Delta leader and former agitator in the oil-rich region, Alhaji Asari Dokubo has allegedly accused the military especially the Army and Navy of massive economic sabotage, noting that they should be held responsible for the high rate of crude oil theft in the country.
Asari who made the revelations today while briefing State House Correspondents after meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, said he is ready to offer free support to the present administration in curbing massive oil theft in the region, adding that the Navy and Army intimidate the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who by status are supposed to protect the pipelines.
