Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule has clarified that the state did not deny the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi the use of the venue requested for their campaign, noting that the state has been fair to all political parties in that regard.
Governor Sule made the clarification while fielding questions from State House correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Villa Abuja.
Governor Sule noted that campaigns in Nasarawa have been very peaceful while expressing confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will be victorious at the 2023 general elections.
Our Correspondent reports that Nasarawa Governor lauded Mr President for his support especially in the area of security, establishment of the agricultural machinery institute and approval for the discovery of oil in Nasarawa State amongst others.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is to visit Nasarawa State on the 4th of February for the APC Presidential Campaign.
