The Kebbi State Police Command neutralized one bandit, arrested three others, and rescued abducted residents in operations across Maiyama and Shanga LGAs.

In Botoro Gadi, eight armed men kidnapped two residents, prompting a police and vigilante response that killed one suspect and recovered a dane gun. In Shanga, another gang abducted two people, but police and army personnel intervened, forcing the kidnappers to abandon their victims and flee with gunshot injuries.

Separately, Musa Muhammad was arrested in Takware for unlawful possession of ammunition, with live rounds and empty shells seized. All rescued victims have been reunited with their families.

The police assured residents of continued efforts to combat criminal activity, following previous operations in Dandi LGA that neutralized three suspected bandits.
