The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has denied allegations that it assigns candidates to exam centers outside their chosen towns.
The board’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, stated that candidates are assigned to centers within their selected towns and challenged anyone with proof to the contrary to come forward.
Benjamin added that, to ensure transparency and to avoid ābeing a judge in oneās own caseā, proof should, within the next 96 hours, be sent to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) WhatsApp number: 08056003030.
JAMB had earlier announced the arrest of 27 impersonators who attempted to sit for the 2025 UTME on behalf of others, and advised Candidates who were scheduled to take their examinations at any of the delisted four Computer-Based Testing (CBT) centres in Abuja, to reprint their examination notification slips immediately.
