Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has expressed support for President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, citing his bold steps in economic reforms and structural changes.
Governor Soludo who made the remarks after a private meeting with President Tinubu on Tuesday in Abuja, described the President as being in high spirits, hale and hearty, stressing the need for progressives to work together, regardless of party affiliations, to deepen democracy and drive economic and social development.
Our correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that Governor Soludo while speaking on security, outlined Anambra’s comprehensive approach, which includes kinetic and non-kinetic strategies. He cited the state’s Homeland Security Law, passed in January, and efforts to empower youths through skills training and job creation, noting that the state has trained and empowered over 5,000 youths, with another 8,700 set to receive support soon.
Soludo emphasized the state’s intentional approach to economic and social empowerment, while highlighting the importance of intelligence gathering and community engagement in addressing security challenges.
