FG Declares Friday, Monday As Public Holidays To Celebrate Easter

The Federal Government has declared April 18th and 21st as public holidays to enable Christians celebrate Easter.

Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo extended his heartfelt congratulations to Christians across the country on the joyous festivities, and called on Nigerians to use the holiday period to pray for the peace, unity, and stability of the nation.

Ministry of Interior’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Magdalene Ajani, said that the public holidays were to mark the celebrations of Good Friday and Easter Monday, respectively.
