Eric Odo, the chairman of Igbo Etiti Local Government Area in Enugu State, has officially appointed Ezeugwu Ogbonna as the Senior Special Assistant on Agriculture, focusing on yam and pepper cultivation.
The announcement was made in a letter dated November 1, addressed directly to Ogbonna. The letter stated, “I am pleased to inform you that the executive chairman of Igbo Etiti LGA has approved your appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the local government chairman on agriculture (yam and pepper).”
Ogbonna has been instructed to report to the executive chairman at Ogbede for further briefing and deployment. The letter also emphasized that this position is a temporary appointment, held at the discretion of the executive chairman.
In addition to Ogbonna’s appointment, Nwodo Ugonna has been designated as a Special Adviser on garden egg and pepper. However, the specific responsibilities associated with these new roles have not been detailed by the council chairman.
