Trump yesterday picked billionaire World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) co-founder and his transition co-chair, Linda McMahon, as his nominee for education secretary.
A long-time Trump ally, McMahon led the Small Business Administration during Trump’s first presidency and could be tasked with closing down the Department of Education, which Trump had previously criticized.
Trump also selected Dr. Mehmet Oz, a former television talk show host and heart surgeon, to head the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services that oversees health insurance programs for millions of older, poor and disabled Americans.
He also named Wall Street executive, Howard Lutnick, to lead the Commerce Department.
