Team Delta has been officially declared overall winner of the 22nd National Sports Festival (NSF) hosted by Ogun tagged “Gateway Games 2024”.

Although the final medal tally has yet to be released due to the pending conclusion of the Table Tennis event, Delta State had already secured a commanding lead, making its overall victory indisputable.

As the curtain falls on the Gateway Games 2024, attention now turns to Enugu State, which has been named the next host of the National Sports Festival.

Meanwhile, the Enugu State Government has pledged to deliver a top-tier 23rd National Sports Festival (NSF) in December 2026.

Its Commissioner for Sports Lloyd Ekweremadu assured that Enugu will offer an even better experience with a cultural pilgrimage, featuring tourist sites like Awhum Waterfalls and Nsude Pyramid.
