The Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, has said despite the string of successes recorded by the Labour Party (LP) in the recent presidential and National Assembly elections in the Southeast, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is getting stronger in the region.
Fielding questions from State House Correspondent after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja, Governor Umahi who emerged Senator-elect during the Presidential election on February 25th, expressed optimism that his party will do well in Ebonyi state at the March 18th Gubernatorial elections.
Our Correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that the Senator-Elect while commenting on chances of the Southeast in the composition of the leadership of the 10th National Assembly, in view of his interest, said that every geopolitical zone would be given a fair chance when the time comes for that.
